Half-marathon for Protect Black Women

Caris has been fortunate to receive support and therapeutic help from her mother and extended family, a luxury not all black women have. Recognizing this injustice, her mother, along with other powerful black women, launched the campaign ‘Protect Black Women.’ This initiative, in collaboration with Headstrong Counselling and other partners, aims to provide therapeutic support and advocate for black women. In gratitude, Caris will be running a half marathon on the 21st of August to raise £1,500 for the cause, as a tribute to her mother, aunt, and late Nana Iris for their impact on her life.
