All conversations with our helpline are confidential. Your personal
details,
the information
you
share, and the nature of your call are kept private, except in circumstances where
authorised by
you or legally required.
You are welcome to remain anonymous during calls if you prefer. It is
not
mandatory to
provide your name or any identifying information unless you choose to do so.

*Black and dual-heritage women (inclusive of cis/trans and gender expansive
people) from
African or Caribbean Heritage. It is important to note that we are aware of the nuance of
the Black diaspora and encourage Black women and individuals who were born and/or raised in
different continents but currently live in the UK to also apply.
All of our listeners are trained volunteers. Our helpline does not provide
medical, legal, or
mental health advice.
Our helpline is not a crisis intervention service. We are unable to handle calls related to suicide or severe distress.
